EPOXY COATING

Let’s face it, the majority of homeowners don’t use their front door to enter and exit their homes. They enter through the garage…and they exit the same way. Is your garage cluttered? Is the floor dirty and stained? Wouldn’t it be a welcomed change to come home to a clean garage that looks like another room in your house? MD Concrete Creations can help! Our epoxy coating will give your garage floor a durable, stain resistant finish that’s easy to clean and pleasing to the eye.

We start by acid etching the floor. Then we re-profile the entire garage with a diamond grinding machine. This process opens the pores of the concrete and allows the base coat of the epoxy to penetrate the surface and bind to the floor.

We use the highest quality epoxy products on the market. Our epoxy systems provide an ultra-tough, impact-resistant, chemical-resistant and abrasion-resistant protective finish. These strong systems provide long-lasting, easy-to-clean protection for your concrete surfaces.

Epoxy coatings can be used over concrete floors in a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications such as garage floors, show rooms, bathrooms, offices, manufacturing plants, commercial and retail stores, industrial plants, warehouses, hospitals, airplane hangars and more. There are several decorative options with epoxy coatings that include chip flooring, metallic flooring, solid color flooring and quartz flooring.

Maintenance Tips

An epoxy coating is a wonderful upgrade to your garage, but it will require a bit of maintenance to keep it looking its best. Here are some basic cleaning tips to keep your epoxy floor in top shape.
·  Vacuum or sweep with a soft push broom to remove surface dirt particles
·  If stains or tire marks exist, clean with a pH neutral floor cleaner (e.g. Simple Green). We recommend mixing 1 pint of cleaner with 5 gallons of warm water.
·  Pour the water mixture onto the floor, scrub soiled areas with the push broom to help release the stains.
·  Use a foam squeegee or wet vac to clear the water from floor.
